Keeping Kids Safe Online: Spiritually, Emotionally, and Legally

Our children are growing up in a new world: a world of constant connectivity, with access to near-limitless information and instant communication. It’s an exciting world, but also a world that brings new dangers – physical dangers, legal dangers, and emotional and spiritual dangers. There is hope, though! There are specific, concrete steps that parents can take to help their children safely engage with today’s technology.

Join us Thursday, 7 September from 6-7:30 p.m. at New Church Westville/Kainon School hall for a presentation by New Church Pastor Joel Glenn and UKZN law professor Tanya Woker on some of those steps that you can take to keep your kids safe and healthy in this new technological world.

This talk will be useful for parents of children of any age; those with older kids might find it particularly valuable. Everyone (high school age and up) is welcome and there is no cost to attend, so please come and invite any friends who might be interested!
